The youth of St. John’s play an active and vital role in our parish. EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) is for teens in the 7th through 12th grades. EYC is split into two groups: Jr. High (7th and 8th grades) and Sr. High (9th-12th grades). EYC members are also active in parish and diocesan ministries and events.
EYC is a group in which youth can come together to deepen their relationship with Christ, learn more about the Episcopal Church, live out our Baptismal Covenant by serving others, share meals, and HAVE FUN!
Most weeks the Jr. & Sr. EYC will meet together on Sunday morning (9:15-10:15) and Sunday evening (5:30-7:30). In the morning, we spend time in fellowship and formation. In the evening, our time together begins with a meal and closes with worship in the Nave. Both Jr. and Sr. High EYC’ers will also have opportunities throughout the year for fellowship with their own age group.
