Please join the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of St. John’s Episcopal Church at its annual bazaar and luncheon on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Education Building at the church at 113 Madison Ave., Montgomery.
Sunday School classrooms will be turned into shops for handmade arts and crafts, a pantry of homemade casseroles, breads, cakes, pies, and cookies, a treasure attic full of gently used household goods including kitchenware, china, silver, holiday and decorative ware and so much more!
All proceeds are designated for the ECW’s outreach projects that benefit the local community.

The Bazaar features several areas offering a variety of wonderful items:
The Craft Room will offer many handmade items crafted by talented parishioners and local artists, as well as seasonal decorations such as unique Christmas ornaments and Thanksgiving-themed décor, hand painted wax lambs made with candles from the St. John’s altar, painted Della Robbias, and many handsewn items.
The Pantry will boast a variety of homemade foods perfect for family meals, tailgating, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Annual favorites include cornbread dressing, sweet potato crisp, spinach & artichoke casserole, chicken and wild rice casserole, chicken tetrazzini, baked ziti, shrimp gumbo, spaghetti sauce, chili, camp stew, lemon chicken soup, mulligatawny soup, and much more.
The Treasure Attic will feature fancy and plain glasses, decorative flower pots, pitchers big and small, beautiful linen cocktail napkins, puzzles and silver-plated serving ware.
Each year the bazaar presents a unique Silent Auction opportunity thanks to the generosity of St. John’s members and friends. This year’s Silent Auction will be a haven for art lovers, antique collectors and treasure hunters with signed paintings and prints, antique china and silverplate, intricate cut glass bowls, items by Mackenzie Childs, Vietri, Haveland, Waterford, and Byers Choice (naming only a few), as well as a variety of indoor and outdoor decor. Silent bidding will begin at 10 a.m. with closing bids due by 1:30 p.m.
