Every Wednesday in Lent St. John’s will host a Lenten speaker from with the national Episcopal community.
There is a dinner at 6pm ($6 for adults, $4 for children, $20 family max.) and the speaker will present a lesson on the topic of their choice from 6:30pm-7:30pm.
The speaker for April 5th will be the Rev. Dr. James Turrell, Professor of liturgy and Associate Dean for academic affairs at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN
Children ages 4-6th grade will have a Lenten presentation of their own during the 6:30pm-7:30pm hour. During this Lenten season their series will be The Gospel According to Dr. Seuss
