Wednesday Noonday Service with Sermon by Lenten Speaker

Every Wednesday in Lent, St. John’s will have a noonday service with the sermon given by a different visiting Lenten speaker. Following the noon service a luncheon is offered in the parish hall. Each week a different church or women’s guild prepares the meal. The luncheon cost $6.
The Lenten Speaker for April 5 is the Rev. Dr. James Turrell, Professor of liturgy and Associate Dean for academic affairs at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN
