From Eden to Egypt
A Summer Sermon Series on the Book of Genesis
This summer the Old Testament lessons in the Revised Common Lectionary (the Sunday Bible reading plan that we, and most mainline churches, follow) are from the books of Genesis and Exodus.
Each week we will read an episode of a grand and inspiring story. We will hear of heroes and villains, patrirchs and matriarchs, sinners and saints. We’ll see God’s hand at work in happy circumstances, and tragic. Then we will learn from Duncan and Deonna as they preach about these Old Testament characters. We will see what lessons these ancient personalities can teach us and discover how we can live more faithful Christian lives.
Join us every Sunday at 7:30 and 10:30am, or watch the 10:30am service live on YouTube or Facebook.
