Episcopal Youth Community (EYC)

The youth of St. John’s play an active and vital role in our parish. EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) is for teens in the 7th through 12th grades. EYC is a place for youth to safely explore and deepen their relationship with Christ, learn more about the Episcopal Church, and live into their Baptismal Covenant by serving the world around them.

We share our time with fellowship, food, worship, and fun! Most Sunday evenings youth and volunteers will meet on the 3rd floor from 5:00-7:30. We’ll begin with an activity followed by dinner and worship. Junior and Senior EYCs are split for activities and games, but we eat together.   Jr EYC meets from 5-6, dinner is at 6 with Jr. & Sr. EYC, then Sr. EYC meets from 6:30-7:30.  We also meet Wednesday afternoons from 3:30-5:00 at Cafe Louisa for coffice! This is a time to fellowship and relax midweek with one another.  Throughout the school year we’ll take trips, do service work, and hang out around town. Sometimes those events will take place during our regular EYC time. Check back often for calendar information and details about events!

Due to Covid 19 there will be some changes in how we meet this fall. When updates are available they will be posted here, in the group me, and on Facebook.

Coffice will begin September 16th!
