Warden’s Report August 2022

WARDENS REPORT

We are gearing up for a very active Fall 2022 at St. John’s. Below are the details:
* On September 11, 2022, we will be having our “Kick Off” Sunday.  This will be the first Sunday when our new Rector, The Rev. Dr. Duncan Johnston will be preaching at St. John’s. Afterwards, we will be having a welcoming barbeque picnic reception for Duncan and his wife Gelind Johnston. Our Events Committee led by Josie Eskridge and comprised of J.R. Marshall, Kathleen Bradford, Dustin Holmes, Debbie Schremser, Ellen Habermacher and Cissy Johnson are organizing this picnic reception.  St. John’s parishioners are asked to bring potluck offerings to accompany the provided pork, chicken, and vegan BBQ options. Keep in mind that we have a good distribution of sweet and savory items.  Look for sign up details soon.
