Information for Young Adults

In your 20s and 30s and are New to Town?

In addition to being our state capital, Montgomery has two airbases.  This means that St. John’s regularly has young adults who are members of our parish for a year or two while working for a current government administration or while based at Gunter or Maxwell Airforce Bases.  It’s part of our parish culture, and St. John’s Young Adults Supper Club is a community of fellowship who is ready and willing to help new folks make friends and feel at home in Montgomery and at St. John’s.

St. John’s Young Adults’ group is open to all members and friends of St. John’s parish who are in their 20s and 30s (or whose spouses are in their 20s and 30s).  Our regular attendees range in age from 20 to just-turned-40, and we have anywhere from a dozen to over 20 folks at each supper club gathering.  We’re a mix of singles, married people, and married people with children.  Our Supper Club gathers at least once a month for dinner and fellowship at the home of one of our young adult households.  Food themes vary each month, as well.  To find out when and where we meet next, contact Jamie Osborne at
