Please join the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of St. John’s Episcopal Church at its annual bazaar and luncheon on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 10-2 p.m. in the Education Building at the church at 113 Madison Ave., Montgomery.
Sunday School classrooms will be turned into shops for handmade arts and crafts, a pantry of homemade casseroles, soups and breads, a treasure attic full of gently used household goods including kitchen ware, china, silver, holiday and home decor as well as a silent auction.
The Pantry will boast a variety of homemade foods perfect for family meals, tailgating, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Annual favorites include cornbread dressing, sweet potato crisp, spinach & artichoke casserole, chicken & wild rice casserole, baked ziti, shrimp gumbo, spaghetti sauce, camp stew, lemon chicken soup, creole sauce, red beans, broccoli cauliflower cream soup, and much more.
The Craft Room will offer many handmade items crafted by talented parishioners and local artists, as well as seasonal decorations such as unique Christmas ornaments and Thanksgiving
themed decor.
The Treasure Attic will feature fancy and plain glasses, kitchenware, china, silver, decorative flower pots, large and small pictures, beautiful linens, puzzles, holiday, home decor and much more.
Each year the bazaar presents a unique Silent Auction opportunity thanks to the generosity of St. John’s members and friends. This year’s Silent Auction will be a haven for art lovers, antique collectors and treasure hunters. Silent bidding will begin at 10 a.m. with closing bids due by 1:30p.m.
All proceeds are designated for the ECW’s Outreach Projects that benefit the local community.
The Luncheon will be served in the Parish House from 11-1 p.m. The menu is honey french chicken, potatoes au gratin, fall salad with apples, pecans, and craisins, rolls, dessert, and iced
tea, water or coffee. Luncheon tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the door or in advance at the church, or by clicking here. Take-out lunch will be available for drive-through in the rear parking lot at the tent by the kitchen door.
