Dear Parish: Thank You for Making Happening Happen

Dear St. John's, 

They camped out in our Sunday School rooms. They covered our windows with colorful tissue paper and shut out the world. They sang and danced in our parish hall. They ingested copious amounts of Pixie Sticks. They listened and learned as new friends bravely shared their personal testimonies. They worshipped together. They gained a deeper understanding of God's love, and they grew, and they grew, and they grew. 

Thank you to everyone who helped make Happening #87 such a wonderful weekend. Those attending loved being at St. John's, and I loved witnessing their joy. The whole church was alive with kids happily leading one another in Christ. 

To everyone who provided meals, THANK YOU! To everyone who hosted kids in their homes, THANK YOU! To all those who juggled their schedules to allow the Happeners to have St. John's for the weekend, THANK YOU! Your sacrifice and efforts made such a tremendous difference in the lives of these "Happeners." Thank you, St. John's, for all you do to support our youth as they grow in faith and love.
