Jr. High Summer Outreach | Grades 7–9

Jr. High students (rising grades 7–9) are invited to join us for a meaningful and fun summer outreach experience May 31 – June 2. Participants will gather at Camp McDowell for a few days of service, connection, and encouragement while learning about two important ministries in our diocese: Special Session and Sawyerville.

During the trip, students will prepare snacks and activities and host a Happy Hour for campers at Special Session. They will also travel to Greensboro to visit the Sawyerville camps, spend time with campers and staff, and help support the Sawyerville team by providing dinner for their staff.

Participants will arrive at Camp McDowell on Sunday, May 31 at 3 PM and will be picked up in Birmingham on Tuesday, June 2 at 5 PM (exact location TBD).

The cost for the trip is $200, and financial assistance is available. This is a wonderful opportunity for Jr. High students to learn about outreach ministries in our diocese, build friendships, and serve others in meaningful ways. Space is limited, so sign up today!
