At its meeting last Monday the Vestry finalized a gifted and varied slate of six new members. This slate will be voted on at the Annual Meeting on January 18. Well before then, please look out for the bios of these good folks who have offered themselves to be part of our lay leadership for the next three years. They are:

The slate for the next Bishop of Alabama has been announced. Please go to albishopsearch.org to learn about the candidates. There's a chance to meet them at St Stephen's, Birmingham, on January 3rd, before the Electing Convention on January 24th at the Cathedral. If you have any thoughts about the candidates please know that St John's Convention delegates will be happy to receive your input as they prayerfully consider their votes.
